Senior Associate — Private Equity M&A, Silicon Valley

A leading law firm seeks a highly qualified senior-level associate to join its Private Equity Group in Silicon Valley.

The successful candidate will have experience both working within teams and independently managing components of transactions, with a strong background across a broad range of corporate and transactional matters.

This role involves significant client contact and collaboration across practice areas and geographies in a collegial, entrepreneurial environment.

• 6+ years of experience in corporate and transactional matters
• Expertise in M&A, leveraged recapitalizations, growth equity and venture capital transactions, exits and equity compensation
• Ability to manage components of transactions independently as well as within a team
• Proactive, strong business sense and stellar communication skills
• Proven ability to manage internal and external client and counsel relationships
• Outstanding academic credentials and comparable law firm experience
• Relevant bar admission (or eligibility to obtain promptly)
• Deal sheet required
