Our national professional indemnity team is a market-leading practice advising insurers, Lloyd's syndicates, and corporate clients on the defence of civil liability claims against a range of professionals, including solicitors, accountants, financial advisers, construction consultants, and brokers. The team handles complex, multi-party disputes—both litigated and pre-action—alongside coverage and advisory matters, as well as regulatory and disciplinary proceedings.

As a Senior Associate, you will manage a diverse caseload independently while contributing to larger, strategically important matters under partner guidance. You will also work closely with clients in the insurance market, building your profile and network.

Minimum 3 years' PQE (PQE levels are a guide; all suitable candidates considered)
Experience acting on coverage disputes and advisory matters in the financial, professional, and management lines space
Strong knowledge of the FCA-regulated space and FOS procedure
Intellectual versatility and breadth of experience across coverage and liability matters
Excellent technical legal skills, including drafting, strategy management, and caseload management
Established connections with insurance market clients and a developing external network
A collaborative team player contributing across all firm competencies
