Senior Litigation Attorney

Our client, a leading full-service law firm with a premier national insurance practice, seeks an experienced litigator for its Atlanta office. This role focuses on sophisticated, high-exposure litigation, including property and casualty claims, transportation and trucking matters, commercial disputes, environmental and toxic tort claims, and other complex civil litigation. You will collaborate with nationally recognized trial lawyers and insurance industry leaders on significant matters nationwide.

Key responsibilities include:

• Independently managing a substantial caseload from inception through resolution.
• Handling all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation.
• Representing insurers, corporations, transportation companies, logistics providers, and other commercial clients.
• Defending and advising clients in property and casualty, transportation, commercial, environmental, toxic tort, mass tort, and catastrophic loss matters.
• Taking and defending fact, corporate representative, and expert depositions.
• Drafting and arguing dispositive motions.
• Developing case strategy with experts, consultants, and clients.
• Mentoring junior attorneys and collaborating across offices on national matters.

• J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
• Admission to the Georgia Bar or eligibility for prompt admission.
• 8+ years of litigation experience.
• Experience handling complex civil litigation through all phases.
• Significant deposition, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation experience.
• Experience representing insurance carriers, transportation companies, logistics providers, manufacturers, or other commercial entities preferred.
• Experience with insurance coverage, transportation, environmental, toxic tort, mass tort, or complex casualty claims highly desirable.
• Excellent written and oral advocacy, analytical, strategic thinking, and client counseling skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.
