An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified lawyer (Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive) to join a leading national Catastrophic and Complex Injury team. The team is comprised of 30 partners and 81 lawyers across the UK, offering a fantastic platform to develop your skills and career alongside experts in the field.

The team acts for a mix of leading insurance industry names and household corporates, providing effective claims solutions for cases of the utmost severity and complexity, including traumatic brain injury, spinal injury, amputation, and high-value fatal accident claims. Whether instructions involve pre-emptive advice/investigations or litigation, the aim is to provide a clear strategy from the outset.

You will assist senior fee earners on complex and higher-value cases and partners on multi-million-pound claims. This role is based in Birmingham.

Qualified lawyer (Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive)
Previous experience of working or assisting on Personal Injury, EL/PL, or Catastrophic and Complex Injury claims, or a keen interest in this area of law
High level of personal compliance with firm protocols and procedures
Good legal knowledge relevant to area of expertise
Ability to adopt a commercial perspective to legal issues
Confident negotiation skills
Team-oriented and collegiate with a willingness to share knowledge
Excellent relationship and client handling skills
