Apply in confidence →Seeking a junior to mid-level associate to join a sovereign finance practice in either New York or Washington, DC. The team advises sovereigns, sub-sovereigns, state-owned enterprises and multilateral institutions on complex cross-border capital markets and debt transactions.
Work includes sovereign bond offerings, liability management, derivatives, financings/refinancings and sovereign debt restructurings, together with capital markets and financing matters for private-sector clients across Latin America and the Caribbean. The role requires regular collaboration on international transactions and direct client engagement.
- JD (class of 2022–2025) or equivalent
- Fluent in Portuguese and Spanish
- Experience or strong interest in capital markets, sovereign debt, project finance or related cross-border finance matters
- Outstanding academics with strong drafting and analytical skills
- Eligible to become licensed to practice in the jurisdiction applied to
