Supreme Court & Appellate Associate

We are actively recruiting an associate for a leading nationwide Supreme Court & Appellate practice. The team has briefed and argued hundreds of appeals at every level, including the U.S. Supreme Court, federal courts of appeals, and state courts, and is recognized by the leading global legal directories.

The practice handles a busy docket of bet-the-company and industry-changing appeals, alongside a market-leading "appellate eyes at trial" offering focused on key motions and issue preservation at the trial court level. The group includes former Supreme Court and appellate clerks, former appellate counsel, non-profit sector leaders, and law school faculty.

• Excellent legal research, writing, and interpersonal skills.
• Judicial clerkship experience preferred, ideally for a federal or state appellate court.
• Completed JD from an accredited law school.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Highly motivated, proactive, and a team player.
• Superb written and oral communication skills.
• Membership in the State Bar of the office where you wish to be based, or ability to become admitted promptly.
