Join a market-leading Technology & IP Transactions team in Chicago focused on complex, IP- and technology-intensive matters for public and private companies. You will work on a broad mix of domestic and cross-border matters across sectors such as software and AI, life sciences, energy and infrastructure, industrials, consumer products, and media.

Typical engagements include M&A, financings, joint ventures and strategic alliances, outsourcing and software agreements, R&D and collaboration arrangements, and a wide range of licensing (patent, trademark, copyright, and data) and other commercial contracts. A technical degree is not required.

3–6 years' transactional experience with technology- or IP-intensive matters
Experience drafting and negotiating licenses, software/systems agreements, outsourcing, collaboration or other commercial technology agreements
Comfort with both domestic and cross-border transactions and working across industry sectors
Strong drafting, negotiation, and project-management skills; collaborative team player
J.D. and admission (or eligibility) to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction
