Technology Transactions Attorney (3rd-5th Year)

An established law firm is seeking a technology transactions attorney with three to five years of experience to join its Technology Transactions Group. The role is open across multiple U.S. offices and centers on high technology commercial transactions and intellectual property licensing.

The position involves drafting and negotiating complex licensing arrangements, including agreements covering artificial intelligence counseling and deployments, software and content licensing, partnering and distribution, application and cloud hosting, intellectual property development, and technology transfer relationships. The work is transactional in nature and does not involve IP litigation or prosecution/registration; it may include advising on transactional privacy issues and compliance and regulatory matters, including the evolving regulatory landscape for AI systems.

Candidates will work with both emerging companies and established enterprises in a high-energy, talent-development-focused environment. The firm looks for commercially minded, pragmatic counsel who can manage and prioritize multiple projects, work independently and collaboratively, and contribute actively to practice group training.

• Three to five years of experience in technology transactions, with emphasis on high technology commercial transactions and IP licensing
• Substantive experience drafting and negotiating complex licensing arrangements preferred
• Familiarity with AI counseling and deployments, software and content licensing, partnering and distribution, application and cloud hosting, and technology transfer relationships
• Strong analytical skills and creative problem-solving abilities in a transactional context
• Ability to draft customized agreements to meet specific client needs
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects independently and as part of a team
• Interest in staying current on related legal developments and contributing to group training
