We are seeking a Trademark Associate to join a busy Intellectual Property team in Indianapolis. The role focuses on U.S. and international trademark prosecution, portfolio management, clearance, maintenance, and enforcement for a mix of national and global clients.

Day-to-day work includes prosecuting trademark applications before the USPTO, managing TTAB and domain-name proceedings, advising on brand-protection and licensing matters, and supporting enforcement and anti-counterfeiting efforts. Candidates will work collaboratively with cross-office teams and counsel business-oriented clients on strategic IP issues.

Juris Doctor (JD) and active bar membership in good standing.
3–6 years of experience in trademark prosecution, portfolio management, and enforcement (U.S. experience required; international experience a plus).
Experience with USPTO prosecution, trademark clearance searches, and use of trademark search databases/tools.
Familiarity managing TTAB matters (oppositions/cancellations), UDRP/domain-name disputes, and related copyright issues.
Experience drafting and responding to cease-and-desist letters, and advising on policing, licensing, and brand-protection strategies.
Strong legal research, drafting, and client-management skills; able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
