In-house counsel salary in Abu Dhabi, 2026.
The dated public number is easy to paste and expensive to post. For the company filling an ADGM seat, and for the counsel who would take it, the 2026 cell is three payrolls and two legal systems — not a UAE-wide Legal Advisor average.
The cell you post is the search you get.
In Abu Dhabi, four of the twelve in-house searches Sartori closed over three years had to be re-banded mid-process because the posted AED cell described an onshore advocate, not an ADGM English-law counsel. That is what in house counsel salary Abu Dhabi means as an instrument in 2026: the cell you post is the search you get. Sartori maps 2,500 lawyers in the emirate; that file records admission and employer, not packages.
Abu Dhabi is not short of lawyers who can do funds, energy or holding-company work. It is short of companies that post the jurisdiction they are actually hiring. Wrong cell. Empty shortlist.
The public tracker is thin. The cost sits in the mismatch between the cell you post and the jurisdiction you are hiring. The miss is costed below.

The dated number is a sample. The usable cell is a jurisdiction.
PayScale last updated a United Arab Emirates Legal Advisor series on 7 January 2026. That is the only clean, non-recruiter 2026 compensation tracker this page can cite. Everything else that looks like an Abu Dhabi in-house ladder is a recruiter PDF, a job board, or a guess.
PayScale’s 2026 Legal Advisor series for the United Arab Emirates puts average base pay at AED 220,000 a year, from 14 salary profiles last updated on 7 January 2026. The published 10th-to-90th band runs from AED 1,000 to AED 875,000; bonus is reported from AED 0 to AED 60,000. Early-career observations (1–4 years) average AED 84,000 total compensation across 6 salaries; mid-career (5–9 years) average AED 216,000 across 7 salaries. Medical benefits are reported by the whole of that tiny sample.
Read those cuts as a warning, not as a scale. A 14-profile UAE-wide mix of employer types cannot price an FSRA-facing funds counsel on Al Maryah Island, and it cannot price an Arabic onshore disputes counsel at an operating company. The AED 1,000 tenth percentile is not a real in-house floor; it is what a small self-reported sample looks like at the edge. A head of legal who pastes the AED 220,000 average onto an ADGM English-law requisition has posted the one public number that exists, and has still posted the wrong cell.
Across 91 in-house respondents inside Sartori’s Abu Dhabi interview cohort, sitting at emirate employers over a 24-month window, 64 were at ADGM-registered entities and 27 at onshore sovereign, listed or energy desks. Of those 64 ADGM-seated counsel, 48 named a jurisdiction-mismatched posted band as the reason a requisition stalled or a candidate declined. Of the 27 onshore respondents, 19 said Arabic court capability still set the cell, not FSRA fluency. The same cohort, two legal systems, two prices.
Early career (1-4 years) average total compensation
Six salaries in PayScale's 2026 UAE Legal Advisor series. Not an ADGM funds cell and not a usable junior band for a listed energy issuer.
PayScale, Legal Advisor Salary in United Arab Emirates in 2026, last updated 7 January 2026 ↗Onshore advocate bandADGM English-law cell
- Copied onshore cell A UAE Legal Advisor average, an advocate scale, or a mainland commercial band, posted against an ADGM funds, trading or family-office seat. The English-law pool does not enter.
- Hybrid holding-company grade A sovereign or SOE grade band that can just about absorb English-law work if a compensation committee makes an exception. Slow, political, and the two seats that run long.
- Jurisdiction-matched cell Common-law PQE, FSRA or listing fluency, English working language, priced as a company seat rather than as a law-firm lockstep. This is the cell that actually closes.
A general counsel at a listed energy-retail subsidiary told Sartori the first posting had been copied from an onshore commercial-advocate scale, and “the ADGM trading candidates never entered.” That is the whole page in one sentence. The dated public number is real, sourced, and the wrong instrument for the seat the company is trying to fill. Dubai sits next door with its own financial center; it is named here only as a contrast, and it does not set this cell.
The ADGM trading candidates never entered.
Three payrolls write the check. Law firms write the secondment.
The 2026 Abu Dhabi in-house counsel seat sits on a company payroll — legal counsel, senior legal counsel, associate general counsel reporting into a GC. International firms are the feeder and the competing cell, not the thesis employer.
Sovereign holding stack
ADIA as global allocator; Mubadala as industrial and technology investor; L'imad as the operationally active owner of the ports, airline, rail, utility and healthcare companies that used to sit under ADQ. Each operating company keeps its own legal desk.
Energy complex
ADNOC Group plus listed daughters and the ADGM-incorporated trading arm. The legal function is multi-entity: corporate and commercial at the listed names, projects and LNG at logistics and trading, listing and related-party work wherever ADX still applies.
ADGM funds, banks, family offices
The 2026 volume buyer for a first or second FSRA-facing counsel. Managers and financial-services entities hire a UAE counsel or second a London or New York lawyer into an ADGM seat rather than stand up a full general-counsel office.
Start with the holding stack, because 2026 rearranged it. AGBI reported on 30 January 2026 that L’imad absorbed ADQ, a vehicle then put at USD 263 billion of assets under management, 25 investment companies and platforms, and more than 250 group subsidiaries spanning ports, rail, healthcare and airports. AGBI’s 22 July 2026 restatement described L’imad as an operationally active shareholder of around USD 300 billion of assets, with a July board framework covering energy and utilities, transport and logistics, aviation, industrials, urban development and alternative investments. The hiring consequence is not a single group legal office. It is a set of operating-company desks that now report, at one remove, into one active shareholder that will standardize governance, related-party and corporate-tax files.
Take-privates inside that stack change the listed-company counsel mix. AGBI reported on 26 August 2026 that Abu Dhabi Power Corporation completed the mandatory acquisition of remaining TAQA shares on 13 August 2026, after a June buyout step estimated at AED 21.6 billion, with L’imad’s indirect holding at 98.12 percent and delisting from ADX pending. AD Ports was in a residual-float offer with settlement no later than 9 October 2026. Continuous-disclosure load on those issuers falls. Remaining public-markets counsel concentrates on other ADX names and on ADGM-listed structures.
The energy complex is a multi-entity legal function, not one general-counsel office. ADNOC Group’s own careers architecture runs a standing “Legal, Compliance & Audit” category and a two-year Business, Arts & Law graduate path reserved to Emirati nationals. ADNOC Trading, incorporated in ADGM and in commercial operations since December 2020, points vacancies to the group site. Listed daughters each run their own legal lines. AGBI, on 20 October 2025, put six listed ADNOC subsidiaries at a combined market capitalization of roughly USD 150 billion, with ADNOC stable at about 18 percent of ADX total market capitalization and listed ADNOC companies scheduled to distribute USD 43 billion in dividends from 2025 to 2030.
The volume buyer in 2026 is the ADGM fund and financial-institution desk. ADGM’s 8 September 2026 release counted 190 fund and asset managers, 276 funds and 392 financial-services entities at the end of the first half. New 2026 names are buy-side and manager entities that typically hire a first UAE counsel or second a London or New York lawyer into an ADGM seat. Mubadala, in its 9 April 2026 results, reported assets under management of AED 1.4 trillion (USD 385 billion) at end-2025, and The National the same day put the UAE platform’s GDP contribution at AED 45 billion and direct and indirect job creation in Abu Dhabi at 98,000. Domestic holdings named in that reporting — FAB, Aldar, G42, Masdar — are each a separate in-house legal employer. ADIA, in its 2025 review as reported by The National on 10 September 2026, posted a 20-year annualized return of 6.6 percent and a 30-year return of 7.2 percent; it does not disclose assets under management, and this page does not invent one.

| Buyer stack | The seat | What prices it | What closes it | Evidence |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sovereign holding, operating company | Legal counsel / senior counsel reporting to a group GC | Grade band of the holding company; Arabic onshore slice plus English commercial work | A cell that can absorb an ADGM-priced package without a compensation-committee exception | L'imad/ADQ stack, 2026 |
| Listed energy-retail or logistics issuer | Legal counsel reporting to associate general counsel | ADX disclosure, related-party and capital-markets load | A listed-company commercial cell, not a funds cell and not a GC package | ADNOC listed-sub architecture; ADX weight |
| ADGM energy-trading subsidiary | Senior legal counsel, trading / LNG / shipping | English common-law PQE, commodity and finance fluency, FSRA overlay | An ADGM English-law cell. An onshore-advocate band does not enter this pool | ADNOC Trading, ADGM-incorporated |
| ADGM fund or asset manager | First or second UAE counsel, often 1-3 lawyers | FSRA authorizations, IMAs, AML/sanctions, fund formation | A common-law PQE cell benchmarked to London/NY secondments, not a UAE Legal Advisor average | ADGM H1 2026 manager and FS-entity stock |
| Abu Dhabi bank | Senior legal counsel, funds / DPM documentation | Bank regulatory plus ECM and takeover work instructed out | A bank-grade in-house cell; Magic Circle on the bid | Chambers 2026 work highlights, FAB as principal |
| ADGM single-family office | A single senior lawyer covering funds, succession, Courts and employment | Breadth, not a lockstep. Paid off the family-office payroll | A senior-counsel cell, not an 8-year managing-partner spec copied from the LSP rules | RA 2025 SFO framework amendments |
International firms are the feeder and the competing cell. Chambers Global 2026 ranks Abu Dhabi-based Corporate/M&A with Band 1 at Skadden and Gibson Dunn, Band 2 at Linklaters and White & Case, and further bands that include Freshfields, Clifford Chance, A&O Shearman as an eminent practitioner presence, and others. ADGM’s 30 March 2026 release named Skadden and DLA Piper among 2025 setups in the financial center. White & Case’s Chambers profile puts energy and real-estate mandates as mostly from Abu Dhabi, including Masdar as principal on the USD 2.8 billion ReNew Energy Global take-private. Freshfields’ profile records FAB as principal on a USD 2.8 billion payments-company takeover. Those laterals leave the firms for in-house desks; those firms remain on the in-house panel. Neither fact makes a law firm the employer this page is pricing.
Five dated drivers moved the cell. A recruiter survey did not.
Corporate tax, ADGM employment, Al Reem property, the FSRA digital-asset stack and the L'imad consolidation are the 2025–26 events that changed what the company is buying. The AED number is a consequence of those files, not an input from a salary guide.
Federal corporate tax is no longer a filing chore. Federal Decree-Law 47 of 2022 puts a 0 percent rate on taxable income up to AED 375,000 and 9 percent above, for financial years beginning on or after 1 June 2023, as restated by The National on 15 December 2025 when the Ministry of Finance announced credit-sequencing amendments. Chambers Tax Controversy 2026, last updated 14 May 2026, records that first corporate-tax return deadlines fell between 2025 and 2026, that no significant disputes had appeared by end-2024, and that significant controversies have emerged from later 2025. A 15 percent Domestic Minimum Top-up Tax applies from 1 January 2025. An APA program launched in December 2025 with materiality generally at AED 100 million per tax period.
The Federal Tax Authority’s 2024 volumes, as cited by Chambers, ran to about 93,000 inspection visits, about 12,000 VAT violations detected and 722 Raqeeb reports investigated. The Authority’s own news ticker, as accessed in 2026, put inspection visits at 103,680 in the first half of 2026, up 21 percent. Gulf News, on 9 September 2026, reported the practical consequence: corporate tax and transfer pricing now sit in the statutory audit file. In-house counsel who can produce contemporaneous related-party trails and Qualifying Free Zone Person substance files are the cell; a first-year contracts lawyer is not.
ADGM Employment Regulations 2024 were published on 3 January 2025 and took force on 1 April 2025, repealing the 2019 rules. ADGM is exempt from UAE federal labor law; the 2024 regulations, with Temporary Work Permit Rules 2024, apply to ADGM-registered entities and their employees. HFW, on 9 May 2025, and ATB Legal, on 18 August 2025, set out the substance that moved the cell: remote and part-time categories; a written English contract within one month; a six-month probation cap; standalone victimization; compensation up to three years’ wages including injury to feelings; end-of-service gratuity even on for-cause termination; a ban on recovering visa and recruitment costs; and a 21-day post-termination payment or a daily-wage penalty. Every ADGM employer needed contract rewrites in the first quarter of 2025. Ongoing demand is for employment counsel, not for a general counsel to “cover HR.”
Al Reem created a property-legal docket that did not exist in this form five years ago. Cabinet Resolution 41 of 2023 expanded ADGM geography; ADGM’s 27 February 2025 release said integration concluded at end-2024, with 1,100 Al Reem businesses added. Gibson Dunn, on 4 November 2025, described the 17 October 2025 Court Rules that created a Real Property Division for about 30,000 residents and about 1,500 businesses, with short-term residential leases targeted for two-month disposal, and a Commercial and Civil Fast Track aiming for disposal within six months on a USD 100,000 to 500,000 guidance band. In-house real-property and leasing counsel at developers, funds and family offices on Al Maryah and Al Reem is a 2025–26 cell, not a side-desk of corporate work. ADGM Courts last revised fees on 31 December 2024 and 22 August 2025; the current schedule took effect on 17 October 2025, the same day as the Real Property Division rules. In December 2025, Mubadala and Aldar unveiled a joint venture valued at more than AED 60 billion to expand Al Maryah Island by 1.5 million square meters of office, residential, retail and hospitality space, as restated in ADGM’s 30 March 2026 decade release. That is not a legal-desk budget. It is the built form sitting under the property-legal cell.
The FSRA digital-asset stack is hiring FSRA-facing counsel into ADGM entities, not into a generalist commercial seat. Fiat-referenced token acceptance rules took effect on 1 January 2026. The National, on 8 December 2025, reported Binance licensed through three Nest entities — a recognized investment exchange, a recognized clearing house, and a broker-dealer — with operations from 5 January 2026. ADGM’s first-half 2026 release said the staking framework was finalized and the AML and sanctions Rulebook updated in May 2026. At Abu Dhabi Finance Week on 10 December 2025 the FSRA put more than 20 regulated virtual-asset and fiat-referenced-token firms on the books. That is a mid-to-senior in-house seat at exchanges, custodians, brokers and asset managers.
FSRA throughput in 2025, from the Authority’s own annual report, was 94 Financial Services Permissions granted, 235 risk assessments completed, and 203 financial-crime and cyber notices issued. That is the supervisory load sitting on in-house counsel at authorized firms, not a hiring census, and it is why an FSRA-facing seat does not close on a general commercial cell.
A wrong AED cell costs months, not a rounding error.
Sartori's Abu Dhabi in-house mandate telemetry is twelve closed searches over three years. That is a small book, and it is the book. The uncomfortable finding is how many of those files had to be re-priced after the shortlist had already seen the posting.
Of 12 closed Abu Dhabi in-house searches over the trailing 36 months, 4 required a mid-process rewrite of the posted AED cell. Those four ran to the seven-month end of the desk’s usual 4-to-7-month timeline. The eight that posted an ADGM-jurisdiction cell from the brief closed inside five months. Completion across the 12 was 93 percent. Median offer-to-acceptance, once the cell matched the seat, was 16 working days. Counter-offer incidence on this city and this line is 28 percent.
That rewrite ratio is the finding that does not flatter the method. A third of the closed book arrived with a cell the candidate pool would not enter. Sartori still closed them, which is the part a brochure would stop at. The part that makes the rest believable is the wasted first cycle: a shortlist assembled against the wrong instrument, a quiet decline, a compensation-committee paper, a second posting. The company experiences that as “the market is tight.” The market was not tight. The cell was wrong.
A head of legal at an ADGM-licensed fund manager told us they lost the first shortlist because HR had priced the seat as a UAE legal advisor. An HR director at a sovereign-holding operating company said internal grade bands could not absorb an ADGM-priced package without a compensation-committee exception — which is why the two holding-company seats in the 12-file book ran to the long end of the envelope. Direct testimony does not replace the telemetry. It is why the telemetry looks the way it does.
Posted in errorClosed on the right cell
- The copied posting A UAE Legal Advisor average, an onshore advocate scale, or an 8-year managing-partner spec lifted from the LSP rules. The pool that can do the work does not apply.
- The silent decline English-law counsel read the band, compare it with a London or New York secondment, and stay put. The company reads an empty shortlist as a supply problem.
- The rewrite A second posting, a compensation-committee paper, a new brief. Months have already gone. The seat that was urgent in month one is still empty in month five.
Three anonymized files from the same book
An ADGM-licensed fund manager posted Legal Counsel against a mainland advocate band. The first shortlist of six declined without a counter. The cell was rewritten as an English-law FSRA seat. The file closed in month six, inside the envelope, after a cycle that should not have been spent. Client described as an ADGM-licensed manager; no name.
A listed energy-retail subsidiary needed LNG and shipping counsel for an ADGM trading arm and posted a senior-counsel title on an onshore commercial band. A candidate leaving an international firm’s Abu Dhabi office walked. The cell was re-banded. Offer to signature took 16 working days, which is the median on this line once the instrument is right. The miss was the first posting, not the acceptance window.
A single-family office specified eight years’ PQE because someone had read the ADGM legal-services managing-partner gate and copied it into a company requisition. That gate does not apply to in-house counsel. The search sat still for eleven weeks on a license that was never required. The brief was rewritten as a senior-counsel breadth seat covering funds, succession, ADGM Courts and employment. It then moved.
We have worked the Abu Dhabi in-house market for five years, for sovereign-holding operating companies, energy issuers and ADGM-licensed managers. Over the last three years we closed 12 in-house searches at a 93 percent completion rate and a median timeline inside 4 to 7 months. The service view of that book sits on our in-house counsel recruiting page.
HR had priced the seat as a UAE legal advisor.
Post the jurisdiction. Then run the search.
Onshore and ADGM are two legal systems inside one employer. The mis-set 2026 cell is the company that posts an onshore-advocate band for an ADGM funds seat, or a London-PQE band for an Arabic court seat.
ADGM Courts cannot hear criminal, family or estate matters, as the Courts’ own FAQ states. Notary Public at ADGM Courts is licensed by the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department. In-house teams at SOEs and banks therefore keep an Arabic-capable onshore disputes, employment and regulatory slice — instructing UAE-licensed advocates — and an English common-law ADGM, funds and FSRA slice. The same counsel can cover both if they hold a foreign practicing certificate plus five years; many cannot. The cell has to say which slice you are buying.
Section 219 of the ADGM Courts Regulations gives a right of audience to a person practicing or employed as a lawyer for a continuous period of at least five years immediately prior, authorized to practice in any jurisdiction by that jurisdiction’s approved regulator. Otherwise, leave of the Court. Any person may appear in Small Claims, Employment and, as of the 17 October 2025 amendments, Real Property Divisions. ADGM Courts have not instituted a registration system of lawyers as a pre-requisite for a right of audience. Proceedings run in English. In-house counsel who meet the five-year test can appear without joining a licensed legal-services provider. ADGM’s 8 September 2026 release said that by 1 July 2026 the Courts had already exceeded full-year 2025 caseload and were tracking to more than double it, with a majority of matters in opt-in jurisdiction. The Courts treated in-house teams as a distinct user class as early as 2016, when the Registrar appointed members from law firms and in-house legal teams to user groups.
Emiratization is a real gate on SOE graduate legal seats and a non-gate on experienced ADGM fund counsel. ADNOC’s Accelerator path requires Emirati citizenship, completed or exempted national service, government clearances and a two-year trainee contract before a possible permanent hire. Experienced laterals into ADGM managers are typically common-law qualified — England and Wales, New York, Australia — without a UAE advocacy license. Mixing the two gates in one requisition produces a seat nobody in either pool can occupy.
| ADGM English-law seat | Onshore Abu Dhabi seat | |
|---|---|---|
| Working language | English; documents in English | Arabic, with an English overlay on commercial files |
| Courts | ADGM Courts; five-year lawyer test; no practitioner register | Abu Dhabi Judicial Department; advocate license |
| Employment file | Employment Regulations 2024 (in force 1 April 2025) | UAE federal labor law |
| Tax overlay | Qualifying Free Zone Person conditions; FSRA-facing groups | 9 percent corporate tax above AED 375,000 |
| Cell that closes | Common-law PQE, FSRA or funds fluency | UAE advocate, Arabic disputes and regulatory |
| Cell that fails | Onshore-advocate band, or an 8-year LSP managing-partner spec | London-PQE band with no Arabic court capability |
Your exposure is an empty ADGM seat, not a missing AED number. Write the jurisdiction before you write the band.
- Name the slice. ADGM English-law, onshore Arabic, or a dual-capable lawyer. A hybrid posting that tries to cover both usually fills neither.
- Do not paste PayScale. The AED 220,000 UAE Legal Advisor average is a 14-profile mix. Use it as a floor check, not as the cell for an FSRA-facing seat.
- Do not copy the LSP rules. Eight years, a million dollars of indemnity and an on-site qualified FTE are a firm license. They are not a job specification for company counsel.
- Budget the rewrite. Four of twelve closed files on this desk needed one. A compensation-committee paper in week two is cheaper than a second posting in month five.
- Hold the counter. Incidence on this line is 28 percent. A competing onshore employer will match a mispriced ADGM offer with the wrong number, which is how you lose the person and keep the cell.
Your price is the jurisdiction you can actually practice in, not the title on the posting. Read the cell before you read the bonus.
- Ask which slice. If the employer cannot say whether the seat is ADGM English-law or onshore Arabic, the band is not yet a band.
- Five years is the appearance gate. ADGM Courts do not run a practitioner register. A UAE advocacy license is the onshore gate, not the ADGM one.
- Ignore the 8-year copy. If a company posting demands managing-partner PQE and professional indemnity, someone has lifted the legal-services license. That is a signal about the brief, not about you.
- The GC package is a different move. Counsel, senior counsel and associate GC are this page. The Abu Dhabi general-counsel table is the next one.
- Test the market quietly. This bench is small. A no-names conversation with a specialist desk is how you find out whether the posted cell is real without putting a current seat at risk.
Companies adding a counsel seat to an existing legal function should start from the jurisdiction split on this page. Companies building a legal function from nothing should start with the first general counsel guide instead; the sequencing questions there come before any AED cell. The cross-market in-house ranges sit on our 2026 in-house counsel salary map.
Common questions about in-house counsel pay in Abu Dhabi
What does in house counsel salary Abu Dhabi actually mean in 2026?
The only public 2026 tracker is PayScale’s UAE Legal Advisor average of AED 220,000, from 14 profiles last updated 7 January 2026. That is a UAE-wide mix, not an Abu Dhabi in-house seniority table, and it is the cell companies paste onto the wrong seat. An ADGM funds or trading counsel is priced off English-law PQE; an onshore disputes counsel is priced off an advocate license. Sartori does not publish a coined AED ladder on top of a 14-profile sample.
How long does it take to fill an Abu Dhabi in-house counsel seat?
Sartori’s Abu Dhabi in-house desk works to a typical 4 to 7 month timeline, with a 93 percent completion rate across 12 closed searches over three years. The four searches that had to be re-banded mid-process ran to the seven-month end of that envelope. Median offer-to-acceptance, once the cell is right, is 16 working days.
Does the ADGM legal-services license apply to company counsel?
No. ADGM’s 28 October 2025 legal-services rules bind licensed law firms — an 8-year PQE managing partner, USD 1 million of professional indemnity, one qualified full-time employee on site. In-house counsel employed by a fund, bank or operating company are not providing legal services as a business under that license. Copying the 8-year gate onto a company requisition is how a search stalls on a rule that was never in scope.
What does a mis-set AED package cost the company?
Of 12 closed Abu Dhabi in-house searches over three years, four required a mid-process rewrite of the posted cell and ran to seven months. The eight that posted an ADGM-jurisdiction cell from the brief closed inside five months. Counter-offer incidence on this line is 28 percent, and a competing onshore employer will defend a mispriced ADGM offer by matching the wrong number.
Who actually employs in-house counsel in Abu Dhabi?
Three payrolls, not law firms. Sovereign holding companies after L’imad absorbed ADQ on 30 January 2026; the ADNOC energy complex and its listed and ADGM trading daughters; and ADGM funds, banks and family offices — 392 financial-services entities at end-H1 2026, per ADGM’s 8 September 2026 release. The general-counsel table is a different article.
Should we hire this seat in-house, or send the work to the panel?
Bring in the FSRA, employment and tax file that sits on the payroll of the 392 ADGM financial-services entities; keep the panel on bet-the-company M&A. Most of those desks are one to three lawyers instructing Magic Circle or US firms on the authorization file. A panel refresh is not a substitute for the person who signs the related-party trail.
ADGM releases, the FSRA report, PayScale, and the tax file.
Workforce, license and entity counts come from ADGM's own announcements. Penalty totals come from the FSRA Annual Report 2025. The only public 2026 compensation tracker cited is PayScale's UAE Legal Advisor series. Corporate-tax architecture comes from the Ministry of Finance via The National and from Chambers Tax Controversy 2026.

PayScale n=14 is a UAE-wide Legal Advisor mix, not an Abu Dhabi in-house seniority table; tenth-percentile and ninetieth-percentile cuts of that sample are edges, not usable floors or ceilings. ADGM workforce and license figures count people and permissions inside Al Maryah and Al Reem, not lawyer FTE. ADIA does not disclose assets under management. L'imad, TAQA and AD Ports figures are as reported by AGBI on the dated pieces cited.
Our own numbers — the interview cohort, the mandate telemetry, the counter-offer incidence and the offer-to-acceptance window — come from the continuous research program described on our research page, which sets out the survey waves and the mapping coverage behind every Sartori figure quoted above.
