Alternative Investments, Direct Lending & Specialty Finance Associate — New York

An established finance practice in New York is seeking a mid- to senior-level associate to join its alternative investments, direct lending and specialty finance team. The group handles a broad range of secured and unsecured lending transactions for borrowers and lenders across domestic and cross-border markets.

The role offers the chance to broaden an existing fund finance or structured finance skillset into a wider array of financing work, including acquisition financings, leveraged finance transactions, bridge loans and complex syndicated and bi-lateral facilities.

Candidates should be comfortable taking meaningful responsibility on sophisticated, multi-party transactions and working closely with colleagues across the practice.

• Mid- to senior-level associate with 3+ years of experience in fund finance or structured finance
• Solid experience with secured and unsecured lending transactions
• Exposure to fund financings, acquisition financings, leveraged finance deals, bridge loans and other complex syndicated or bi-lateral financings
• Experience with domestic and cross-border transactions preferred
