The role involves substantive merger-control and regulatory work, competition litigation and investigations, and collaboration with cross-border teams on matters brought before the European Commission and other competition authorities.

Ideal candidates will work on high-profile, often tech-sector matters, supporting both transactional clearance and defence against enforcement or private litigation. The Brussels office acts as a hub for EU competition work, offering exposure to second-phase merger proceedings, cartel/abuse investigations, and urgent response to dawn raids/inspections.

2–5 years post-qualification experience in competition/antitrust law
Proven experience in merger-control filings and regulatory work; litigation and enforcement experience a plus
Strong legal research, drafting and advocacy abilities; commercial, problem-solving mindset
Membership of an EU Bar (required) and fluency in English; additional EU languages desirable
Comfort working in international, fast-paced teams on high-stakes matters
