An established Netherlands-based law firm seeks an Associate to join its specialized Employment & Labor practice in Amsterdam. You will work closely with a close-knit team of approximately 17 other lawyers, offering clients an integrated approach and clear, understandable advice while collaborating intensively with colleagues from various expertise areas across the firm.

The role involves complex and high-profile matters, including employment law and works council/co-determination law, with the team also active in pension law. You will assist large multinationals on intricate employment and co-determination questions, and work alongside corporate, healthcare and business conduct teams on transactions and investigations. There is room to take the lead in cases and play a key role within the team.

You will contribute to knowledge development in your field, for example by publishing or training and coaching less experienced lawyers, and actively help grow the practice. As a key point of contact for clients and external advisors, you will have the freedom to shape your work according to your experience and interests.

Successfully completed a Dutch law master's degree (Nederlands recht)
Four to six years of experience as a lawyer
Strong knowledge of employment law
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English
Preferably available as soon as possible, though start date is negotiable
