Associate - Corporate & Finance - Brussels

You will advise on a broad range of banking and finance transactions, including debt finance, debt capital markets (such as EMTN programmes), structured finance operations, and fund formation and transactions. The role also involves providing sophisticated financial regulatory advice, and—as a Belgian lawyer—representing international clients on Belgian corporate, finance, and commercial law matters.

You will work hand in hand with colleagues across the firm's international network, primarily from London, Amsterdam, Paris, and Frankfurt, on high-profile Belgian and international mandates. • Master's degree in law obtained in Belgium with excellent academic results (international experience such as secondments, an LL.M, or an additional master's degree is a plus).
• Between 2 and 6 years of relevant experience in a banking & finance (or equivalent) practice group at a reputable law firm in Belgium.
• Native French or Dutch speaker with a good command of the other main national language and an excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong technical capabilities with solid project management responsibility, ensuring timely delivery to high quality standards.
• Willingness to continue learning throughout career development.
• Willingness to develop relationships with clients, regulators, and counterparties.
• A real team player able to work effectively with others, act as a source of advice to colleagues, and share knowledge and expertise.
