Associate — Capital Markets (Derivatives), New York

A leading international law firm is seeking junior to mid-level associates for its Capital Markets — Derivatives team in the New York office. The team handles a range of derivatives matters within capital markets transactions; candidates with direct derivatives experience (particularly equity derivatives) are preferred, though strong transactional capital markets associates with an interest in derivatives will be considered.

The firm offers a structured mentor program for laterals, formal professional development, an active pro bono practice, and a hybrid work model with core in-office days. Compensation and year-end bonus eligibility will be determined based on experience and relevant qualifications.

• 3–5 years post-qualification experience in derivatives or related capital markets work (junior candidates from the class of 2024–2025 will also be considered)
• Preference for equity derivatives experience; transactional capital markets background acceptable with strong interest in derivatives
• Demonstrated strong academic record and solid prior law firm experience
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and teamwork skills
