Associate — Capital Solutions & Special Situations (Restructuring), New York

Mid-level associate role on a Capital Solutions and Special Situations team within a leading firm's Debt Finance and Bankruptcy & Restructuring practices. The team works on liability-management and special-situations matters, including secured and unsecured financings, distressed M&A and debt-restructuring transactions.

Typical matters include exchange and consent offers, backstop arrangements, rights offerings and exit financings. The group is collaborative and multidisciplinary, offering exposure to both financing and restructuring workstreams.

• 3–5 years' relevant US law firm experience in liability management, distressed financings or restructuring.
• Experience with exchange/consent offers, backstop arrangements, rights offerings, exit financings and related documentation.
• Admission to practice in New York.
• Strong academic record, excellent drafting and transactional skills, and ability to work collaboratively on complex, time-sensitive matters.
