Associate, Catastrophic Injury (2+ PQE)

We are seeking a motivated Associate to join our respected Catastrophic Injury team in Birmingham. In this role, you will provide comprehensive and efficient support in investigating and managing high-value cases for a diverse range of external clients.

You will be part of a top-ranked team, working directly under a highly regarded Partner and Senior Associate. Your responsibilities will include handling and assisting with a variety of complex motor, employer's liability/public liability, and sport-related concussion claims, including those that are sensitive and have garnered national media attention.

We are often instructed on UK cases requiring cross-border quantum investigations via our international offices. We avoid unnecessary lawyering, focus on working in partnership with clients, and deliver modern solutions including in-house R&D capability and an award-winning suite of technological and process innovations.

Required Experience

• 2+ years' UK Qualified Solicitor or CILEX qualified with relevant experience (guideline only)
• Litigation experience of catastrophic injury defence work
• Previous client contact and attendance at business development events
• Experience of negotiation
