Join a market-leading Employment practice within a global law firm, working on a diverse mix of contentious and non-contentious matters for national and international clients. The team is recognised for its standalone employment work—spanning board-level strategic advice to day-to-day HR support—and acts for a wide range of organisations, from FTSE and Fortune 500 companies to start-ups and owner-managed businesses.

The role will focus primarily on employment litigation, including advocacy, and involves managing complex Employment Tribunal claims across sectors such as health and life sciences, technology, retail, transport, financial services, education and utilities. You will also support multi-jurisdictional projects, advisory work and corporate transactions, and supervise more junior team members.

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work directly with partners and the wider team, handling high-profile discrimination, whistleblowing, contingent worker and equal pay cases. The position is based across multiple regional offices in the UK, with regular travel to one office required.

Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with a minimum of 5 years' PQE
Experience in defending employment tribunal claims and advocacy
Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and supervise junior colleagues
Experience within a national or multi-office team
Commercial and innovative approach to client solutions
Excellent IT skills for delivering advice solutions
Commitment to high-quality client service and managing a heavy workload
