An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate to join a well-regarded Restructuring & Insolvency team in Manchester. The group advises on a broad range of complex, high-value matters, supporting insolvency practitioners, lenders, creditors, directors and businesses, and works closely alongside Dispute Resolution, Corporate and Banking colleagues on both contentious and non-contentious insolvency work.

The caseload is diverse and spans directors' duties, cross-border insolvency, restructuring, recovery actions and insolvency-related litigation. As part of a wider European practice, the team collaborates across offices and jurisdictions, giving exposure to sophisticated and often multi-jurisdictional matters. The practice is continuing to grow, creating a genuine opportunity for an ambitious lawyer to play a key role in its development.

The successful candidate will combine technical excellence with commercial insight, build trusted client relationships, and take an active role in mentoring junior lawyers, contributing to business development, knowledge sharing and cross-firm collaboration.

England and Wales qualified lawyer with at least 5 PQE
Experience gained from a reputable insolvency practice
Strong drafting and negotiation skills, with experience managing transactions end to end
Commercially minded and collaborative, with an interest in developing others and growing the practice
