Growing compliance and government‑contracts team in Washington, DC seeks a 2–6 year associate to support CFIUS, outbound investment reviews, export controls, sanctions, and related government‑contract matters. The role combines regulatory counseling with transactional support and internal‑investigation work.

Work will include preparing CFIUS filings and OISP analyses, advising on BIS/DDTC/OFAC compliance, supporting government‑contracts issues, and assisting on M&A and structured‑investment matters that have national‑security or trade implications. 2–6 years of post‑qualification experience in CFIUS, export controls, sanctions, government contracts, or closely related regulatory work
Strong academic credentials from an accredited law school
Experience or demonstrated interest in CFIUS/OISP filings and work with BIS, DDTC, OFAC, and DCSA preferred
Comfort supporting transactional matters (M&A/structured investments) and internal investigations
Excellent written and oral advocacy; able to manage client deliverables in a fast‑paced practice
