Top-tier international law firm is seeking an associate with a strong copyright litigation background to join a national Copyright Litigation & Counseling team. The group handles copyright disputes and counseling across digital media, music, software and related technologies, including matters touching on generative AI and other emerging platforms.

The role combines courtroom litigation, agency work and transactional counseling: counseling on DMCA and rights-clearance strategy, drafting pleadings and motions in federal court, negotiating content licenses, and advising clients on product design and commercial strategy. The team represents a mix of startups, technology and media companies.

Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in copyright or related IP litigation
Experience litigating in federal court and comfort with motion practice and discovery
Advising clients on copyright clearance, DMCA and transactional licensing matters
Strong legal writing and research skills; ability to manage client relationships and commercial counseling
J.D. and admission to practice in a U.S. jurisdiction
