Associate, Corporate & Private Equity

An established national law firm is seeking a mid-level Associate to join its Corporate & Private Equity practice. The role is open to candidates based in the Dallas or Pittsburgh offices and will focus on transactional work across private equity and fund-representation matters.

The team advises on a broad range of private equity transactions including buyouts, minority investments, sponsor-backed deals, and fund formation for emerging managers. The position offers opportunities to work on complex, market-facing deals alongside experienced corporate partners and counsel.

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar admission in the relevant state or ability to obtain admission.
• Mid-level experience (several years) in corporate transactional work with a focus on private equity, M&A, or fund formation.
• Experience drafting and negotiating purchase agreements, equity/LP agreements, and related transactional documents.
• Strong academic credentials, excellent writing and communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively on deal teams.
