Associate — Derivatives (Corporate) — New York

Experienced mid-level associate role in a major New York capital markets and financial regulatory practice. The team advises investment managers, banks and emerging companies on a broad set of derivatives, commodities and futures matters across transactional and regulatory fronts.

Work will span Dodd-Frank, CFTC and SEC issues and transactional derivatives work involving commodities, FX, credit derivatives, futures, and novel fintech/crypto trading arrangements. The role offers exposure to complex, cross-border capital markets and regulatory matters within a large, global practice.

• Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in derivatives, commodities or futures practice.
• Strong transactional and regulatory experience covering Dodd-Frank, CFTC and/or SEC matters preferred.
• Experience advising financial institutions, investment managers or trading firms on derivatives, FX, credit or commodity products.
• Excellent drafting, analytical and client-facing skills; ability to work on cross-border, complex matters in a fast-paced team environment.
