We are seeking an Associate to join our Disputes practice in Toronto. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior to mid-level lawyer to develop well-rounded advocacy skills while working on complex commercial disputes and arbitrations.

The successful candidate will assist with complex trials and arbitrations, argue motions and applications, attend court hearings, conduct examinations for discovery, and draft pleadings, motions, facta, and other court materials. They will also advise clients on disputes risk, strategy, and resolution options.

1–4 years of experience
In good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
Experience in commercial disputes, including contractual disputes, commercial arbitration, banking litigation, shareholder disputes, injunctive relief, competition litigation, and/or real estate disputes
Strong advocacy, legal research, and drafting skills
Excellent judgment, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities
