Our Employment & Labour group advises a diverse range of private- and public-sector clients, including some of Canada’s largest employers, on strategic workplace matters. We are seeking an associate with two to four years of direct employment and labour experience to join our Calgary office.

Provide practical day-to-day advice on hiring, employee relations, employment standards, outsourcing arrangements, and terminations.
Advise on compliance with Canadian privacy law and the creation, revision, and enforcement of workplace policies.
Deliver manager training programs to keep clients current on employment and labour law developments.
Support clients in responding to union-organizing drives and certification applications.
Handle employment litigation, including enforcement of non-competition and trade secrets agreements, wrongful dismissal claims, and mediation proceedings.
