Mid-level associate opportunity in a national Environment, Energy & Resources practice focused on the intersection of digital infrastructure and the energy transition. Work will include negotiating commercial power agreements, advising on RTO/ISO market design and interconnection issues, and counseling clients on FERC matters and federal energy policy.

Assignments span transactional and regulatory work: bespoke power purchase and energy service agreements, market participation and capacity mechanisms within major RTOs/ISOs, and representation on FERC compliance and proceedings. The role suits candidates who want exposure to both deal drafting and regulatory advocacy for developers, utilities and large corporate buyers.

  • 3–6 years' experience in energy law with regulatory and transactional exposure
  • Familiarity with the Federal Power Act, power market mechanics, and power transaction structures
  • Proven drafting ability on energy contracts and transactions
  • JD from an accredited law school; admitted or eligible to waive into the office jurisdiction
