Associate, Environment & Planning — Sydney

Search for an Associate to join a well-regarded Australian practice advising on environmental, land use and planning matters. The role focuses on statutory planning, development approvals and environmental compliance work for public and private sector clients.

The team offers exposure to mixed-use, infrastructure and major development projects and regular interaction with government agencies and regulators. This is a hands-on role involving drafting advice, negotiating approvals and managing matter workflows within a specialist practice.

• Qualified solicitor admitted in Australia (or eligible for admission)
• Prior experience in environmental law, planning approvals, or land use and zoning matters
• Strong statutory drafting and regulatory interpretation skills; experience with development applications and conditions of approval
• Good commercial sense and client-facing experience; able to manage matter workflows and contribute to team delivery
