The group works primarily before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, representing investor-owned utilities, transmission and generation developers, energy traders and large load customers.
Work includes regulatory compliance, rate-related filings and FERC litigation, plus counseling on regulatory aspects of transactions involving development, financing, acquisition and disposition of energy and utility assets — including large-load projects such as data centers. The team is nationally active on electric regulatory matters and offers structured career support and firm benefits.
- Juris Doctor and admission (or imminent admission) to a U.S. bar
- Experience handling FERC matters and electric regulatory work (filings, rate issues, compliance, or litigation)
- Strong drafting, analytical and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to work collaboratively on client-facing matters and transactional/regulatory projects
