Associate – Front-End Projects (Construction & Infrastructure)

We are seeking a front-end projects associate to join our market-leading Construction practice in Melbourne, Australia.

This role offers the opportunity to work on major infrastructure and energy projects across Australia, advising on all aspects of project delivery—from structuring and procurement through to contract negotiation and project documentation.

You will work closely with partners and senior lawyers on complex, high-profile transactions, and enjoy a supportive, high-performing team culture.

• Qualified lawyer with strong front-end construction and projects experience, ideally including infrastructure and/or energy sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to manage contract preparation, negotiation, and project documentation.
• Excellent drafting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team and mentor junior lawyers.
