Our Melbourne Banking & Finance team is growing. We are looking for a Solicitor (2–3 PQE) with leveraged finance and project finance experience, and an experienced Senior Associate, to join our market-leading practice.

Working as part of a high-performing national team, you will advise major Australian and international clients across a broad range of financing matters, including acquisition finance, project and infrastructure finance, corporate lending, property finance and complex cross-border transactions. The team is known for its involvement in some of Australia's most significant and innovative deals, supporting major banks, financial institutions, private capital investors and corporate borrowers.

Depending on your level, you will have the opportunity to run matters, work directly with clients, lead negotiations, manage key workstreams on major transactions and mentor junior lawyers. Excellent analytical, communication and research skills to deliver prompt and commercially astute advice
Strong commitment to client service and relationship management, playing a key role in supporting and developing client relationships
Team focus, building strong internal relationships to facilitate effective teamwork
Enthusiasm for business development, including presenting at industry programs and managing strategic relationships and networks
First-rate drafting experience
Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively across complex, fast-paced transactions
Willingness to embrace new technologies, including AI-enabled legal tools, as part of ongoing professional development
