Associate role in a global finance group based in New York, focused on lending transactions across syndicated and private credit markets. The team advises borrower and lender clients on a range of financing structures, including sponsor/LBO finance.

Primary responsibilities include drafting and negotiating financing documents and leading financing transactions from documentation through closing. You will work on complex syndicated and direct lending matters alongside senior lawyers and deal teams.

Candidates must have a minimum of three years’ relevant experience and be admitted or eligible for admission to the New York bar.

At least 3 years’ experience in syndicated lending and/or private credit/direct lending
Experience representing borrowers and/or lenders on financing transactions
Familiarity with sponsor finance/LBO finance preferred
Strong drafting and negotiation skills on financing documentation
Admitted or eligible for admission to the New York bar
