Associate, Insurance Coverage

Our Los Angeles office is seeking an associate to join our insurance practice group, which represents domestic and international insurers in complex coverage litigation. The role focuses on general liability matters across industries such as construction, energy, entertainment, and maritime.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze insurance policies and provide coverage opinions, advice, and recommendations
• Conduct complex legal research and draft memoranda
• Draft and review pleadings, briefs, discovery, and motions, including supporting briefs and other legal correspondence
• Prepare formal correspondence to opposing counsel and other parties
• Attend depositions, hearings, and mediations as required

Qualifications:

• Admission to the California bar
• Civil litigation experience
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to handle multiple sensitive and time-sensitive matters simultaneously
• Effective problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
