Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting disclosure documents, negotiating investment management agreements, and interpreting and advising on applicable federal regulations, including the Investment Company Act and the Advisers Act. The role may also involve matters relating to commodity regulation.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in investment fund formation and regulation
- Experience drafting disclosure documents and negotiating investment management agreements
- Knowledge of the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Investment Advisers Act of 1940; familiarity with commodity regulation a plus
- Admission to practice in New York (required)
- JD and strong academic credentials
