US-based transactional associate opportunity in a firm-wide life sciences licensing and commercial transactions team. The role is aimed at junior to mid-level lawyers with strong experience drafting and negotiating licensing, collaboration, and commercial agreements for pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare clients.

Successful candidates will join a cross-disciplinary IP and life sciences group and work on domestic and international transactional matters. The team will provide mentorship; candidates with direct sector experience are preferred but capable applicants with transferable skills will be considered.

Candidates must have excellent writing and analytical abilities, strong academic credentials, and be eligible to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction (Virginia bar membership required for this role).

3–6 years' transactional experience (licensing, collaboration, commercial agreements preferred)
Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or healthcare-related transactions preferred
Outstanding writing and analytical skills and strong academic record
Law degree from an ABA-accredited school and U.S. bar membership; Virginia bar required
