A leading law firm is seeking a 4th–5th year associate to join its Litigation practice group in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background and exceptional research, analytical, oral advocacy, and writing skills.

The associate will handle and manage all aspects of litigation, including fact investigation, pleadings, discovery, experts, motions, pretrial proceedings, trial, settlement, and related matters, as well as developing and maintaining strong business and client relationships.

The successful candidate will have significant experience across all phases of discovery, including preparing witnesses for depositions, drafting complaints, answers, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements, and managing the filing and service of pleadings. The ability to work effectively under pressure, deliver high-quality work product, and manage junior attorneys to meet deadlines is essential.

4–5 years of litigation experience
Strong academic background and excellent research, analytical, oral advocacy, and writing skills
Experience managing all aspects of litigation, including fact investigation, pleadings, discovery, experts, motions, pretrial proceedings, trial, and settlement
Significant experience across all phases of discovery, including preparing witnesses for depositions, drafting complaints, answers, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements, and managing filing and service of pleadings
Ability to work effectively under pressure, deliver high-quality work product, and manage junior attorneys to meet deadlines
Bachelor's degree and J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school with excellent academic credentials
Member of the California State Bar in good standing
