Associate — Litigation (Trial & Defense) — New York

Seeking a litigation associate to join a trial & defense team in New York handling complex general liability matters. The team defends claims including New York Labor Law, premises liability, catastrophic injury, hospitality, transportation and negligent security across both first- and third-party contexts.

The role involves managing an active caseload, taking depositions, attending hearings and mediations, drafting pleadings, motions and discovery, conducting legal research, preparing case strategies and assisting with trial and mediation preparation. The position requires regular interaction with insurer clients and insureds.

• J.D. and admission to relevant state bar
• 3–6 years of litigation experience, with experience taking depositions
• Prior defense experience in general liability / personal injury matters preferred
