Associate, M&A & Private Equity — New York

Top-tier New York law firm seeks an experienced associate to join its M&A and private equity team. The role focuses on buyouts and private equity transactions, working on all stages of deal execution across acquisition agreements and ancillary documentation.

Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating acquisition agreements, coordinating deal teams and legal specialists, and supervising and training junior associates. Candidates must be admitted to practice in New York.

• Minimum 4 years' transactional experience, with demonstrable private equity and leveraged buyout experience
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills on acquisition agreements and related documents
• Experience supervising and mentoring junior associates and coordinating cross-functional deal teams
