Highly regarded New York corporate team is seeking a mid-level associate to join its M&A and private equity practice, with a focus on public M&A. The role involves substantive deal work on both public and private transactions for corporate clients.

Typical responsibilities include drafting and negotiating merger and purchase agreements, working on complex joint ventures, preparing public-company filings related to transactions (e.g., 8-Ks, merger proxy filings), and supervising and mentoring junior associates. The team offers broad exposure to high‑profile transactional matters across industries.

• Approximately 4 years' transactional experience, with meaningful exposure to public and private M&A and private equity matters
• Proven experience drafting and negotiating merger agreements, purchase agreements and related transaction documentation
• Experience preparing public-company filings (e.g., 8-Ks, proxy-related documents)
• Ability to supervise and mentor junior associates
• Admission to practice in New York
