Associate — Mergers & Acquisitions (Corporate), Houston

A well-established national law firm is seeking associates to join its Houston M&A team. The role focuses on advising corporate clients on acquisitions, dispositions, minority investments and other transactional and general corporate matters.

Successful candidates will take significant responsibility on deals, draft transaction documents, manage workflows and work directly with clients. The position suits entrepreneurial associates who want client contact and the opportunity to develop business and manage matters with a high degree of autonomy.

• JD and admission (or eligible) to practice in the relevant jurisdiction
• Law school class years 2021–2024 (early- to mid-level associates)
• Substantial M&A transactional experience, including drafting transaction documents and deal management
• Strong understanding of corporate law and commercial market terms
• Self-starter with strong organizational skills, client-facing experience and a business development orientation
