Join a leading international law firm’s Tokyo M&A team advising on complex public and private cross-border transactions. The role involves supporting multi-jurisdictional deals through research, drafting transactional documents, coordinating workstreams and liaising with local and overseas counsel.

You will work on deal strategy and execution across a range of corporate transactions, coach more junior lawyers, and contribute to client-facing activity for corporate, private equity and financial institution clients. The team offers exposure to sophisticated, high-value work and broad international collaboration.

Admission in Japan; 4–8 years PQE in corporate M&A.
Experience on public and private M&A transactions, including cross-border deals.
Fluency in Japanese and English; previous experience at a Japanese or international law firm.
Strong drafting and legal research skills, commercial awareness, excellent time management and the ability to coordinate multi-party transactions.
