Associate - Multi-Track Motor (Insurance)  Manchester

Ready to join a specialist insurance litigation team handling multi-track motor claims? This role sits in a small, client-facing team advising leading UK insurers on multi-track and complex motor injury matters. You will be based in Manchester with a hybrid working pattern.

The post reports to the legal team lead and combines personal caseload management with supervision and coaching of case handlers. Day-to-day duties include drafting pleadings, preparing instructions to counsel and experts, attending conferences, conducting legal research, and maintaining high standards of client service.

The role has a clear people-management element: performance management, training and development, workload allocation and wellbeing support for the team are central to success in the role.

• Qualified solicitor with approximately 2 6 years PQE (2 6+ acceptable within the stated range).
• Proven experience on Multi-Track (and/or Fast Track) motor claims and handling complex motor injury matters.
• Experience supervising or coaching a team of case handlers or paralegals.
• Strong drafting, advocacy support and case management skills (pleadings, instructions to counsel/experts).
• Excellent client-facing skills, clear written and verbal communication, and ability to manage competing deadlines.
