We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Associate or junior Senior Associate to join a growing Dispute Resolution - Public Law team in Sydney. This role involves working alongside highly regarded Partners and lawyers on complex, high-profile public law litigation matters.

The team is part of a national Dispute Resolution section of approximately 115 lawyers and offers access to a strong pipeline of government work, given the firm's appointment to key government legal panels. You will work closely with a Special Counsel in a supportive and collaborative environment.

This is a permanent full-time position based in Sydney, with hybrid and flexible working options available. The role is ideal for a lawyer with public law litigation experience who is looking to take the next step in their career.

Between 2 and 6 years of post-admission experience (PAE) in administrative/public law and litigation
Experience advising Commonwealth and/or NSW Government agencies/departments
Experience representing the NSW Police Force will be highly regarded
Strong communication and drafting skills, with outstanding attention to detail
Excellent negotiation skills and an interest in advocacy
Ability to confidently run matters through dispute resolution processes
Ability to handle a busy workload with competing timelines
