An elite national private companies team is seeking 3rd–6th year associates to advise disruptive, venture-backed companies and the investors who fund them, with a particular emphasis on the life sciences sector.

The role centers on counseling early-stage and growth-stage companies across their full growth cycle — general corporate matters, venture capital financings, and liquidity events. Life sciences companies of all sizes rely on this team for strategic legal counsel, and the position offers a chance to work with clients shaping the industry.

Beyond client work, associates are encouraged to help build and run a practice, take part in speaking engagements, and contribute to the growth of a national private companies platform. This is an opportunity to join an expanding national team.

At least 3 years of substantial experience advising early-stage and growth-stage companies, ideally in the life sciences sector
Deep experience counseling venture-backed companies on general corporate matters, venture capital financings, and liquidity events
Prior experience in the corporate department of a national or international law firm, specifically working with life sciences companies
Strong academic record from a nationally recognized law school
