Private Companies Associate (Life Sciences Focus)

We are seeking 3rd–6th year associates to join a growing national private companies team, advising disruptive companies and the investors who fund them. This role focuses on early-stage and growth-stage companies, particularly in the life sciences sector.

Associates will counsel venture-backed companies on general corporate matters throughout their growth cycle, including venture capital financings and liquidity events. Clients range from emerging startups to established life sciences companies shaping the industry.

Beyond client work, associates have the opportunity to build and run a practice, participate in speaking engagements, and contribute to the development of the national private companies platform. • At least 3 years of substantial experience working with early-stage and growth-stage companies, preferably in the life sciences sector.
• Deep experience counseling venture-backed companies on general corporate matters, including venture capital financings and liquidity events.
• Experience in the corporate department of a national or international law firm, specifically working with life sciences companies.
• Strong academic record from a nationally recognized law school.
