Associate, Private Equity (Corporate) — Houston

Seeking associates to join a busy Houston private equity team advising sponsors and corporate clients on acquisitions, dispositions, minority investments, joint ventures and other complex transactional work. The role combines deal execution with general corporate matters and offers exposure to sophisticated, market-leading transactions.

Candidates will work on all stages of deals from diligence and documentation through negotiation and closing, taking significant responsibility and operating with autonomy within a collaborative team environment.

• Law school class years 2021 2023 (early associate level)
• Solid foundation in corporate law and commercial market terms
• Substantial experience drafting and negotiating transactional documents (purchase agreements, equity agreements, ancillary docs)
• Demonstrated ability to manage deals from inception to closing and exercise strong judgment
• Business-oriented mindset and capacity to work independently on high-value matters
