Top-tier global restructuring team in New York is seeking a 2-year associate with experience in financial restructuring to join its finance practice. The group advises a wide range of stakeholders on complex in-court and out-of-court workouts, creditor matters, distressed financings and cross-border restructurings.

The role offers hands-on work on litigation-adjacent restructurings, liability management, debt-to-equity solutions, distressed M&A and debtor/creditor representations, with frequent collaboration across tax, M&A, private equity, capital markets and industry teams.

Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in financial restructuring or corporate bankruptcy practice
Prior experience on in-court bankruptcies, restructurings, distressed financings or related workouts
Strong drafting, analytical and negotiation skills; comfortable managing complex capital-structure issues
J.D. (or equivalent) and admission to practice in New York (or eligible)
Ability to work collaboratively across practice groups and on cross-border matters
