An opportunity has arisen to join a band-1 Disputes & Investigations practice in Sydney, working closely with partners and a broader team across multiple offices. The role offers exposure to complex, high-value and significant matters in the Australian market, with frequent involvement in international disputes.

The team structure provides exposure to several partners within the practice group and a wide variety of work and sectors. Lawyers are encouraged to find their niche and specialise in areas of interest while building a strong foundation across the field.

The role typically involves advising clients on commercial and contractual disputes, regulatory inquiries and investigations, corporate crime, internal investigations, commissions of inquiry and coronial inquests, class actions, arbitration and projects disputes.

This is a permanent, full-time position with hybrid working arrangements and flexibility to discuss arrangements that work best for the successful candidate.

Experience in commercial litigation within a large national or international law firm, or a combination of private practice and court experience
Ability to effectively manage larger matters and develop client relationships
Interest in participating in business development activities
Desire to learn, grow, network and mentor others, depending on level
