A growing Housing Development & Regeneration team within a large national real estate practice is hiring at associate and senior associate levels for its Leeds office. The team advises on all aspects of residential development and housing-led regeneration for housebuilders, developers, public sector bodies and investors across the North.

Role duties range from title due diligence and land acquisition to negotiation of promotion/option agreements, development agreements, collaboration and joint-venture arrangements, planning/infrastructure documentation and funding-related work. There are strong opportunities to lead transactions, supervise junior staff, work with multi-disciplinary specialists and contribute to regional business growth.

The office operates a hybrid working approach and offers structured training, mentoring and development aimed at building a long-term leadership pathway in residential development law.

Qualified solicitor (NQ+) — hiring at junior associate and senior associate levels; candidates across this experience range will be considered
Experience in residential development or demonstrable commitment to specialise in housing-led regeneration
Ability to manage a caseload to tight deadlines, prioritise work and remain calm under pressure
Strong drafting and negotiation skills, commercial judgement and ability to supervise and develop junior team members
Comfort working in multi-disciplinary project teams and engaging with local authorities, agents, surveyors and other stakeholders; appetite for business development
