Senior private client role in an established Private Wealth team supporting individuals, families, trustees and international clients. The team handles wills, probate and estate administration, onshore trusts, powers of attorney, Court of Protection matters and tax-sensitive planning.

The post involves hands-on client advisory work, drafting and review of estate planning documents, supervising and training junior staff, and contributing to business development and marketing initiatives. The successful candidate will work to firm quality and file-management standards.

  • Qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with at least 6 years PQE in private client work
  • Proven experience drafting wills, creating onshore trusts and managing probate and estate administration
  • Experience with powers of attorney and Court of Protection matters
  • STEP membership or working towards STEP is strongly desired
  • Proven file management and client-care skills; experience working to Lexcel or similar quality standards
  • Supervision and training experience with junior fee-earners
  • Strong commercial awareness, numeracy and fee-earning discipline
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and an interest in business development/marketing
