Mid-level associate role in a major firm's structured finance group focusing on residential mortgage finance and related consumer finance matters. The role involves transactional work on securitizations, mortgage-backed securities and other structured-lending arrangements across a range of asset types.

Preferred location is New York, though candidates in other firm offices will be considered. Successful candidates will work on deal documentation, due diligence, and cross-team coordination on complex financing transactions.

Candidates must be admitted to the state bar of their preferred office and can expect to join a collaborative, high-volume transactional practice.

3–6 years' post-qualification experience in structured finance, securitization or related lending at a law firm
Demonstrable experience with residential mortgage finance and MBS or consumer-finance structures
Strong transactional drafting, negotiation and due-diligence skills
Admission to the state bar of the preferred office location
Ability to work collaboratively on fast-paced deal teams
